I’m excited to be back in the groove of sharing these monthly updates about what’s happening with our pack. We’ve got lots of fun things in the works, including a brand-new offering that I’ve been especially excited to bring to Bucky Dog:
New: Trail & Train Walks with Lizzie!
Many of you have asked whether Bucky Dog could incorporate training and obedience into our walks and services, and I’m very excited to finally say yes!
We’re launching a small pilot program led by Lizzie, our newest Bucky Dog walker, who has a background in dog training. We’re starting with a small group of pups and will be learning and building the program as we go.
Our first offering is Train & Trail, a 60 or 90-minute adventure that combines exercise, training, and play. Lizzie will take your pup out into the real world to practice their skills, reinforce good habits, explore new places, and—of course—have some fun along the way.
It’s a great fit for pups who have already learned some basic commands and could use a little extra practice, consistency, and confidence out on the trail.
This new offering exists because you asked for it—so thank you for continuing to tell us what you'd like to see from Bucky Dog! I’m excited to see where we can take this and would genuinely love your feedback and ideas as we get started.

College Walker Appreciation!
September has been a bittersweet month—our college crew have officially packed up and headed back to school to start their sophomore years! And while I’m sad to see them go, I’m so grateful for the energy and commitment they brought to our pack.
These are truly some of the best kids in Marin—they are smart, hardworking, responsible, and so excited about Bucky Dog. I’m wishing them the best for the new school year and can’t wait to see many of them back over the holidays and next summer.
