Marin Dog Walking

We’d love for you to join our pack! New clients begin by submitting a new client inquiry form with a few details about you and your dog.

From there, we’ll reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet with you, your pup, and Bucky Dog owner, Paige. It’s a chance for us to get to know your needs, routines, and preferences—and make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.

We currently serve dog families living in Sausalito, Tiburon, Mill Valley, Corte Madera, Larkspur, Greenbrae, and Kentfield.

Classic walks are 60-minute small-group adventures, Premium walks are extended 90-minute outings for dogs who want more time to explore, and Private walks are solo (or same-household) walks tailored specifically to your pup.

Private dog walks are one-on-one walks (or for multiple dogs from the same household). They’re ideal for young pups, seniors, dogs who prefer their space or simply thrive with individualized attention. Private walks are available in 60- or 90-minute options and follow the same thoughtfully chosen Marin routes as our group walks.

We carefully pair dogs based on temperament, energy level, age, and social style. Our goal is to create calm, happy group dynamics—and we’re proud to have helped spark more than a few lasting dog friendships along the way.

Our walkers pick up your pup and drive to some of Marin’s best dog-friendly spots—from local trails like St. Hilary’s Open Space and Tiburon Ridge to paved waterfront paths like Strawberry Spit.

We rotate locations to keep walks stimulating and fun and always match the tempo to your pup’s preferred pace!

Group walks are kept intentionally small—typically 2–4 dogs—so each pup gets attention, supervision, and a relaxed walking experience.

Both! Many clients book recurring weekly walks, but we’re also happy to help with one-off walks when life gets busy or your dog needs some extra exercise.

We use Time To Pet, the industry-standard pet care platform, to manage scheduling, payments, and visit updates. Once you’re set up, you’ll be able to request walks, view visit notes and photos, and manage everything in one secure place.

We’re pretty picky about who walks our dogs. In fact, our strict community-based model is what sets Bucky Dog apart from other dog walking services.

All of our walkers are people you know and trust—fully vetted, insured, and deeply rooted in our local community. Many are the kids of current and past clients, local coaches and teachers, or college students who love dogs and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. We don’t use anonymous contractors—just reliable, familiar faces you can feel good about welcoming into your dog’s routine.
