Our Scheduling and communication platform! Time to Pet is your Bucky Dog home base.
Use Time To Pet to:
Request walks and overnight care
View your dog’s schedule
Message your walker
Receive photos and report cards after each visit
Keep your pet’s information up to date
We highly recommend downloading the Time to Pet app.
2026 Holiday Calendar
For overnight care (boarding and in-home sitting), the following dates are considered holidays and are subject to an additional $10/night fee:

Feb 13–17
Apr 3–6
May 22–26
July 2–6
Sept 4–7
Nov 22–29
Dec 19–Jan 3, 2027
We recommend booking early for these dates, as availability fills quickly.
Overnight Boarding Deposits & Cancellation Policy
Overnight boarding only (not in-home sitting)
To reserve your dog’s spot, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Because overnight care is limited—and often fills up around holidays—this helps ensure availability for families who need it most and allows our sitters to plan ahead.
If your plans change:
Cancel 3+ weeks in advance → full refund
Cancel within 2 weeks → 50% refund
Cancel within 2 days → deposit is non-refundable
This approach helps us avoid holding spots that go unused and ensures our team can be fairly compensated for their time.
Bucky Dog FAQs

Open the Time To Pet app, tap “Schedule,” select your dates and service, and submit your request. We’ll confirm from there.

The easiest way to reach your walker is through the Time To Pet app messaging feature.
Open the app, tap “Conversation",” then at the bottom tap “New” and draft your message!

You can update or cancel services directly in the Time To Pet app. For last-minute changes, please text our scheduling hotline at 510-730-2333.

Submit a request through the Time To Pet app. Same steps as booking a walk, just select the overnight care option you want from the drop down menu.
Because availability is limited, we recommend booking as early as possible—especially around holidays.

We do our best to accommodate changes. Walks canceled within 12 hours are charged in full to support our walkers, who plan their days around your pups.

Of course, for any emergencies, please contact us and we will work with you to get everything sorted out!

In the Time to Pet app! Open the app, tap “My Info",” then tap the “documents” tab at the top of the page. The service agreement is available to view there as a PDF.
